The Resting Place
“I will sing of the mercies of the LORD forever; with my mouth I will make known your faithfulness to all generations. For I have said, “Mercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness you shall establish in the very Heavens.”

His truth not mine the resting place
His love, not mine the tie.”
As we come to worship our Great God this morning I am overwhelmed at His faithfulness. His Covenant love contrasts with our fickle ways. Despite our best intentions we ride the roller coaster of feelings in and out of the place of confident trust in His unchanging ways. Like Israel of Old we see Him part the Red Sea and then ten minutes later we complain again for the leeks and garlic of Egypt. As I have journeyed the road of illness I have seen in myself this disappointing tendency. But , O to rejoice that “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.” He never Changes- Run to Him in Worship this morning as “We declare His faithfulness to all generations!”
