Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just and that His jutice cannot sleep forever\u2026\u201d<br \/>\nThomas Jefferson<\/p>\n<p>As we go into the New Year, God\u2019s people find themselves in a growing quandary: How do we live in the midst of a people who have rejected God\u2019s ways and God\u2019s will? As Micah said:\u00a0 He has shown us what is good and what the Lord requires of us.\u00a0 His Word is a sure and sufficient guide to life, and yet, by and large our society is throwing off the Revelation of God and trading it in for the Philosophies of men.\u00a0 By rejecting God in our foolish pride, we are proceeding in a path toward destruction.\u00a0 As the proverb says: There is a way which seems right to a man, but the end of that way is death. In I Chronicles 12:32 the Scripture notes the \u201cSons of Issacher who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do.\u201d The clarion need in the Church today is Men with discernment to make sound decisions, who can implement wise directions that will keep God\u2019s people moving on the narrow way, the highway of holiness, between the guardrails of grace.\u00a0 O that God would give us the grace to be able to walk in what is good in the upcoming year.\u00a0 That He would help us to do Justice, to Love kindness and to walk humbly with our God.\u00a0 Am I doing Justice?\u00a0 How about Mercy?\u00a0 Am I humble before my God?\u00a0 Just something to Ponder.<\/p>\n<div style=\"padding-bottom:20px; padding-top:10px;\" class=\"hupso-share-buttons\"><!-- Hupso Share Buttons - https:\/\/www.hupso.com\/share\/ --><a class=\"hupso_counters\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hupso.com\/share\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/static.hupso.com\/share\/buttons\/share-small.png\" style=\"border:0px; padding-top:2px; float:left;\" alt=\"Share Button\"\/><\/a><script type=\"text\/javascript\">var hupso_services_c=new Array(\"twitter\",\"facebook_like\",\"facebook_send\",\"google\",\"pinterest\");var hupso_counters_lang = \"en_US\";var hupso_image_folder_url = \"\";var hupso_url_c=\"\";var hupso_title_c=\"Just%20Something%20to%20Ponder\";<\/script><script type=\"text\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/static.hupso.com\/share\/js\/counters.js\"><\/script><!-- Hupso Share Buttons --><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There is a right way He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
