For I have said, \u201cMercy shall be built up forever; Your faithfulness you shall establish in the very Heavens.\u201d<br \/>\n~ Psalm 89:1, 2<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI Change, He Changes not<br \/>\nThe Christ can never die<br \/>\nHis truth not mine the resting place<br \/>\nHis love, not mine the tie.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As we come to worship our Great God this morning I am overwhelmed at His faithfulness. His Covenant love contrasts with our fickle ways. Despite our best intentions we ride the roller coaster of feelings in and out of the place of confident trust in His unchanging ways. Like Israel of Old we see Him part the Red Sea and then ten minutes later we complain again for the leeks and garlic of Egypt. As I have journeyed the road of illness I have seen in myself this disappointing tendency.
