Forbid it, Almighty God! I know not what course others may take; but as for me, give me liberty or give me death!\u201d<br \/>\n\u2015 Patrick Henry<\/p>\n<p>Since America was attacked on 9-11, the cost of freedom has been high. Although the War on Terror <!--more-->has often been overshadowed by other news stories, the effects on our nation have been huge.<\/p>\n<p>During the war in Iraq, 4,475 U.S. servicemen have given their lives and 32,200 have been wounded.\u00a0 In Afghanistan, 2,165 have paid the ultimate price, while 18,230 have been injured. Among service members deployed in these conflicts 103,000 have been diagnosed with PTSD and 253,000 have been diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain injury. Close to 3,000 servicemen have had to have a limb amputated as a result of their wounds.<\/p>\n<p>This Memorial Day weekend, let&#8217;s not forget their sacrifice.
