Description of the teaching sessions that will be offered at the conference:

The Spiritual Condition of Children
Is it really necessary to share the good news of Jesus with the children? Can’t we just teach them how to be like Jesus? These questions (among others) will be answered in this session as we look at how God sees each child.

Guiding the Child to the Savior
This session will take you step by step through the process of sharing the Gospel with children (or anyone) in a simple yet effective way. Learn how to use simple object lessons, pictures and symbols to present the Good News of the Gospel with the children you teach.

Managing Your Classroom (Dynamics of Discipline)
Are you able to manage the children you teach or do they “manage” you? Since classroom discipline is training, not punishing, this session will take a look at how to properly “manage” your classroom and you will receive lots of ideas and tools to help in this process.

Gourmet Food for the Soul (Growing through God’s Word)
Is your children’s ministry producing spiritually mature kids? Learn how to transform children into spiritual champions by helping them establish the habit of spending time with God each day.
Developing the Child’s Biblical Worldview
A worldview includes values, morals, attitudes and belief systems. Since the world has come to our doorstep, children today are being influenced by other religions and cultures. The Bible is the framework from which to view life and see the world. This session offers helps in establishing a biblical worldview in the children you teach.

Kaboom! Active Learning in the Classroom
Every aspect of the class hour should be exciting yet should involve the total child (mind, heart and will) in the learning process. This session will explode with object lessons, games, learning activities and review ideas for every part of the class hour that will involve the total child in the teaching process.
